Know your rights: working hours, overtime and leave

Working hours, overtime compensation, weekly rest and leave entitlements are governed by applicable labour laws and the terms of your employment agreement.

Employees are encouraged to keep copies of their appointment letter, salary slips and any written communication regarding working hours or leave. If you believe your entitlements are not being honoured, you may register a grievance with the federation for guidance. Assistance is subject to applicable laws and individual case assessment.
